A single label may need to be in service for up to 5 years on your appliance and it must be able to survive that time, so using the right label for the right environment is crucial. The label must also be readable and not look like a rushed scribble which may ocurr with some handwritten labels.

Our experts use labels appropriate for the appliance and for the environment, they are computer printed and will stand the test of time required for the appliance. The labels include a barcode for asset tracking, expert id, testing and retesting dates, they are resistant to water and grease and are also resistant to UV from sunlight.

Where required, appropriate colour labels will be used and the labelling requirements can be adjusted to suit your special needs where possible.

Colour coding on electrical test tags designates different months of the year. It is particulary useful in industries such as construction, where equipment is required to be tested monthly or 3-monthly.
